Tomorrow is LobsterPalooza -- http://www.albanyrotary.org/ -- in Albany. Monday is my 30th birthday.

Not that I think this will apply to anyone on the list, but I know a few people wander in and out of town before I can catch them (yes, I'm looking at you, [info]zhai) -- if anyone's looking for something to do on Saturday, [info]abjuk and I will be going to eat our lobsters (there is also steak and a microbrew fest) around 2 pm.

Afterward, there will be [info]abjuk-made strawberry shortcake at our apartment. There may be some delay to allow for coordination / digestion. If more people wander over, there will be more shortcakes made and more people can eat. That is the plan.

Not looking for presents, though if someone feels especially giving I'd much appreciate it if you donated to my local Humane Society where I gathered both my kitties: http://www.mohawkhumanesociety.org/donate.html

I'm just looking to have a good fun day. Lobster is a super way to start.

Realized I will really miss you guys this year, [info]lissa_dora -- maybe next year. :)

I found a few artists tonight at Troy Night Out whose paintings I admire. One of them, who I only saw in her advertising card, is Taiwanese: http://www.leighwen.com/ -- I've always wanted to paint water, and I can't get over how beautiful her water is.

Her use of color led me to go back and look at Shi-Ling's work -- www.shi-ling.com -- and they're both mindboggling to me.

Leigh Wen lives nearby. I'm so frazzled these days that I can't even begin to conceive of trying to work for her like I did with Shi-Ling, but there's something amazing about those Taiwanese artists. :)

Tripped over some of the old IRC RP I had with [info]xaviergrayson the other day. Also chatted a bit folks from the Cam off and on. Decided to try e-mailing an Albany Cam contact on this-here intarweb. (Four years and I caved.) I miss my [info]lexi_mckeane.

Work is going all right. It's interesting to see who stays and who leaves and then who decides that games are more fun to work on than tax software and looks to come back. :)

Took a day off and went golfing for the first time yesterday. I will never ever suggest that golfing is not a workout again.

Going to go read and fall asleep, methinks.

Well, if Wii Fit isn't the cutest widdle exercise program ever. Personally, I like the part where you stick the wiimote in your pocket and it acts as a pedometer while you jog (no balance board involved) and it runs your little Mii around the island.

Tried it yet?

If people want to look, it's at http://www.1stplayable.com/contact.asp

If people want to ask questions like "ZOMG is that job description for real??" they can ask me. :)
